Steve McLin founded McLin Construction in 2002 as a one-man company with a dedication to providing the highest quality building services to local Louisiana communities. Prior to starting his own company, McLin worked in all facets of construction, from forming slabs and framing homes, to estimating and managing large commercial jobs. In the early years of his business, McLin focused on spec homes and small remodeling projects. Before long, his personable reputation began to bring in customers looking for larger custom houses and more complex remodeling projects. Through word-of-mouth, McLin’s passion, thoroughness, and hands-on attitude created an even larger demand for McLin Construction’s services. Many of McLin Construction’s customers are repeat clients who have hired the company to build a home for a second or third time, or who have contracted with the company to work on a commercial project after being thoroughly satisfied with their custom home.

In 2010, McLin Construction entered the realm of commercial building; however, McLin’s greatest test would come in 2016 with The Great Flood. During this period, McLin and his talented team answered the call to help the surrounding communities that sustained damage. Through repairing and remodeling, McLin Construction worked to restore homes in affected areas, some of which were houses the company had previously built.

With a great work ethic and a caring demeanor for each project, the company has since continued to provide impressive custom home and commercial services to clients throughout Louisiana.
